The small camper modifications or items shown here are some of ones we use the most. It's wonderful to go camping and be so happy for the chance to use an accessory we truly love.
We purchased a Travel Berkey Water Filter before our first trip and have never regretted it. We have visited campgrounds where the taste, smell and/or look of the water was undesirable. Although we have only been to a very few where the water was truly undrinkable, the Berkey has always produced much better water than whatever went into it.
We have friends that locked themselves out of their camper at 3:00 AM. Although we have not done the same, we have found a combination lock to be a convenience game-changer. Karen has a habit of locking both the house and the camper as if they’re parked in the middle of a sketchy downtown area or maybe there is a traveling drug den parked next to them. Life became immensely more convenient once we were not worrying about who had camper keys, especially if we were not together at some point. Maybe one of us is walking the dog while the other is putting gas in the truck - either might leave first, either might come back first, and both might be on a short enough errand to ignore carrying camper keys.
